Home Decorating- Useful Tips & A Guide To Follow While Designing!

It can be not easy to decorate your home. It may not be very clear at first, but I suggest you take the time. It is important to visualize your home before you rush things. When you rush, your space can lack personality and become cluttered as you accumulate more items.

When I decorated my home, I did it from the heart. How did I achieve this? I did not have any design clutter in my head. I began by researching the market to find textiles, textures and stone finishes. Then, I looked at cabinetry colours, furniture options, wood/wall finishes, as well as lighting & flooring. After I narrowed down the textures I wanted, I started curating mood boards. Start with something you like, such as a sofa. Then, integrate that element into your design.

It was the perfect opportunity to work with some of my favourite interior experts. This post contains decorating tips for a cohesive house. Even though style is subjective, there are some design rules that we shouldn’t try to ignore. We all make mistakes, and we can learn from them. As designers, we all know what doesn’t work in terms of design.

INVEST in classic pieces

The timeless design of classic pieces tends to make them expensive. This piece will become the focal point of your room or even your entire home.

The Sunburst Mirror gives our entryway a classic look. Its hand-painted glass detail draws attention, and it also works as a conversation starter when someone enters our home.

Move things around in your home often.

DECLUTTER

Give extra pieces of decor away or put them in a special storage area. You can keep them away and then bring them out when you feel like it. It’s not necessary to show off everything in your home.

BE BRAVE- Studio Ruh

Use textures and prints to add depth and visual appeal. You can do this with wallpaper, fabric, or textured paint. For a more classic and understated look, choose plain wallpapers with textures such as silks, fabrics, and grass weaves. These subtle options add depth and layers far better than paint. They are a great way to create a dramatic effect at an affordable price.
